Natalie was awarded Gold in the New York Festivals' International Radio Programs & Promotions Awards 2012 for Best Music Special for an hour-long documentary called 'World Piece' that she had successfully pitched to the BBC and produced and created single-handedly about an over-year long, never-before-attempted, world-wide music project that she had been hand-picked to be a part of together with 9 other young composer-performers across the globe.
In addition to being honoured at the awards, she has also been personally invited by the New York Festivals to be a Grand Jury Member to help judge the NYF International Radio Programs & Promotions Awards from 2013 onwards.
Natalie has also been selected as a Finalist in the UK and International Music+Sound Awards 2014 for Best Original Composition for Cinema.
Since 2014, she has also been selected to be the voice of numerous Advertising and Production Agency submissions to various industry awards including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity among others.
Natalie is not only an esteemed creative artist and journalist in the media industry having gained a distinction in her Masters in Broadcast Journalism Degree from Falmouth University in 2008, she is also a highly successful and talented musician, composer and performer with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Music Degree from Royal Holloway, University of London (2006).
Using both her music and media expertise, Natalie excels at being highly professional, dealing with high-end clients, being friendly, flexible and equally as importantly, creative, talented and discrete. Consequently, she enjoys a client list for Rockbarn Media as a whole that includes Wayfair, Magnum Ice-Cream, HSBC, Arvato, King Candy Crush, Skoda - Tour De France, The O2 Arena & O2, Revlon, Harvey Nichols, Carphone Warehouse, The National Trust and Falmouth University among many others.
She has also worked as a Broadcast Journalist and Presenter at and for numerous radio stations including Heart, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Devon, Palm 105.5 FM, & Pirate FM. Natalie has also worked on television projects for ITV (Westcountry) and has compèred and presented at various award ceremonies including the New York Festivals 2012 and the Heart Toast of Devon Awards.
Aside from being honoured with the highest category accolade at the New York Festivals' World's Best Radio Awards, some other career highlights include being personally approached by various global brands such as Wayfair and representatives from KitKat, Magnum Ice Cream and Expedia to be their chosen voice for numerous projects, head-hunted from her demo for her first staff job to work in news as a Broadcast Journalist & News Presenter for Heart (Global Radio, formerly Gemini FM and GCap Media) when she was studying for her Masters in Broadcast Journalism at Falmouth University, interviewing the Prime Minister David Cameron one-to-one in 2010 and being invited to present 6 other awards at the New York Festivals' award ceremony at the prestigious Manhattan Penthouse, NYC.
